Rosalina Merchandise Photos (Part 1)

Image
Wow, my last post was a darn long time ago! Sorry for my absence. I recently started university and during the time I didn't post I had to take care of a couple of things. I also moved to Instagram to post my collection so my activity went there for a little while. I also began updating the Rosalina wiki in her merchandise section as well as the merchandise sections of Super Mario Galaxy and SMG 2. Don't worry though, I'll still use Blogger as my main outlet to go in-depth about my collection and other information. That said, my collection is back at home, so I am limited for the moment about photos of new merchandise or photographing merch for the sake of achivial reasons or keeping track of my collection in general. For the meanwhile, i'll do these "Photo Albums". Essentially, they'll just be places when I drop a bunch of merch photos. This will hopefully help me post more often. Enjoy the photos (some might be borrowed from my Insta or not) and ...

Least and Most expensive items!

Image
I've made around 130+ purchases during my journey to build my dream Rosalina collection, so I have a decent idea of what items I expect to be expensive, inexpensive, sought after more/less or simply region specific items not available to others. Today, I'm going to go through a list and talk about my top 5 least and most expensive items! If the item was bought online, I'll show the full price paid (accounts for shipping too). I'll also go by the price that they were bought, unless they were purchased at MSRP. This will include items that Rosalina may appear in but might not be the main focus (cameos). Without further to do, let's start! Least Expensive item #1: Jakks Super Mario 2.5 Inch Figure!!            Let's start off with the least expensive item. At $2.25. Crazy I know! We have wave 46 of the Super Mario Jakks Pacific figures line. In this line, the packaging was altered. Instead of being held on by a plastic ...

Mario Party Rosalina Collection

Image
The Mario Party series is near and dear in my heart. Mario party 8 was one heck of a good game, probably the best one I've played. The only contender is Mario party star rush because I loved playing it when I was bored or on long car rides. It was so fun using all my Rosalina amiibos to continue after loosing lives in the tower mode. Now, it is a small section and there isn't much to go off of, but I'll do my best!             There's one thing I'm missing but we'll come back to it shortly. First off, the Mario Party 10 cards. There were 20 cards of various characters that made up the MP 10 box art render. They were made by Top Seika, who you might remember did some cards for other Super Mario franchises. The other 4 tiny squared cards? They aren't really cards but rather part of a matching game released to promote MP Superstars. Front view Back view            Now, to the amiibos. ...

Super Smash Brothers Rosalina Collection

Image
Super Smash Brothers Wii U/3DS was my introduction into the Smash Series. I got the game as a Christmas gift! Since then, I've fallen in love with the game. I must say though, the learning curve is really big. Everyday, I learn something either new or that I'm doing something that could use improvement. I tried competing in a few tournaments, including those in my local area. Needless to say, there's still quite a long way to go if I wanna make it to the top. One of my first pieces in my collection is a Rosalina Smash amiibo. I try to collect different versions of amiibo (region wise) so most of this section will be made up of that. This section will feel somewhat empty-ish, since I don't have as much merch pertaining to the Smash series.          I needed to keep the poster flat so I used amiibos to help me lol. So the big poster was from a reward one got in Club Nintendo, what is now present-day My Nintendo Rewards. It wa...

Mario Kart Rosalina Collection!

Image
Mario Kart has always had a special place in my heart. I grew up playing MK Wii and MKDS with my twin. We both would always love either playing team battles on Wii or trying to complete 48 races in DS, which we always failed at. Even then, we both continued to follow it into MK8U. My twin has played it for now about 2ish years whereas I have played it competitively for 8 years. I was heartbroken when I heard they would shut down the services soon, more sad since I've made so many good friends while playing online . I tried liking MK8DX, but it's just not my cup of tea (I dearly miss the firehopping and demonsliding). Enough about that, let's get to the main part, the collection! There are a few things I missed and the picture might look blurry so i'll try my best to show everything. I apologize for the weird line on the left side of the image .   (T-T)          It looks somewhat better organized this time. Alright so,...

Super Mario Galaxy Rosalina Collection!

Image
I want to start introdoucing you to my collection, but i'm afraid I don't have a good spot to show all of them (°ロ°) ! Let's start off with Super Mario Galaxy (SMG) and Super Mario Galaxy 2. SMG has always been one of my favorite games Nintendo has produced, replaying it over and over. When I began collecting SMG/2 merchandise based around Rosalina, she surprisingly had a handful of items. Some of them were trading cards and stickers but also found a few neat things as you can see below.          There's a mix of cards and stickers lying down on the table as well as some luma magnets. There was even a tattoo made by Enterplay! My favorite cards here are the SMG2 Rosalina 3D card by Ensky and SMG  Rosalina Foil card by Enterplay . I obtained the 3-D Rosalina through Yahoo Auctions Japan through a shopping proxy and t he Rosalina foil through eBay.  Left: 3D card / Right: Foil card    ...
